Don’t be a brand

Be YOU

My work highlights ecological issues with visual stories that educate and activate. By using graphic design, digital platforms and print on demand, I create work with zero waste.

The books and art promote wellbeing through innovative design and by synthesizing art and science to create high-impact, compelling content. Complex topics are distilled into compelling messages, staying with an audience long after the presentation.

Visual storytelling

The designs are provocative and irreverent, both cautionary tales and messages of hope. Connecting my skills with Earth advocacy allows me to offer fresh perspectives and share my passion for protecting our planet and people.

"I respect Jennifer's courage to take risks as a business owner and creative each and every day! Her work is brilliant - yes - but it is this magnificent human who makes it come alive for all of us!"  Regina Carey, Carey On President

I am a painter, photographer and digital designer. My work sells as fine art and in commercial and editorial markets, with work exhibited from the West Coast to London in galleries, site-specific installations and public collections.

I’ve completed large art installations for municipal buildings, window displays and pop-up art shows. My commercial work appears in magazines, calendars, maps, brochures and websites. Fine art prints are available for sale online.

What I love most is bringing artists and community together in meaningful ways by curating public art projects.

"Her comfort not only with the written word but as a public speaker guarantees that whatever content is being presented, will be so with the utmost excellence." Jackie Fender, Creative Colloquy, Founder and Director

An Exploration in Eco-Advocacy

Helping to make our world and bodies healthier and whole motivates me each day. These interests led me to specifically investigate the complex mind / body connection, especially given the dangerous implications of a dysfunctional network.

This webbed interrelationship illustrated by stress-induced health issues to pharmacological proliferation to water pollution led me to more holistic art practices and a focus on social ecology.

A multi-media, interdisciplinary approach to creating eco-based art allows me to share stories that entertain, educate and enact healthy social change.

The natural world and scientific discovery are a constant source of inspiration and wonder. Whether I'm putting together a picture book from start to finish, installing public artwork or writing an eco-article, my goal is to offer projects that promote peace and wellness. (And sometimes laughter, too!

Art Curating

Working as a curator for art exhibitions allows me to showcase regional, Pacific Northwest artists. In these difficult times, creating virtual exhibitions and forums help keep the conversation going.

TESTIMONIALS

I work with industries, professionals and non-profits to draw attention to ecological subjects and solutions in innovative formats. Examples include designing posters for environmental education campaigns, poetry videos for conservation conferences, installing interactive public art projects and writing picture books.

As the opening for our program, your video was moving and perfectly set the tone for an inspiring and motivational event. Your art is truly amazing and touched the hearts of our audience.
